Pete Finch and his Charlton Live team are organising a fund rasing race night on Friday 26th September at Sporting Club Thamesmead from 7pm till midnight, all money raised will go to the CAFC Women’s football team, over the course of the season Charlton Live are aiming to raise at least £3000 for the club, this will be the first event of the season.
Tickets to attend the evening are £5 including a buffet and will be on sale at training from this week. Everyone is welcome players, families, friends, supporters.
During the evening there will be 8 races each race will have 8 runners which will be shown on the big screen, on the evening you will be able to place 20p bets on each race, but a vital part of the event is that we have the races sponsored and the horse have owners.

To Own A Horse
Owning a horse in the race will cost £5, the winning owner will receive 50% of owners fees for that race, for example if 8 horses are owned, then the winning owner will receive £20 and the club also recieves £20, if there are only 4 horses owned it is a £10 prize.
