Well first and foremost we have to say what a great job Paul (@glovepup) has done with the Charlton Live site, it looks great and will be a huge addition to Charlton Live.
Well its been a fascinating season for us so far, it all started with our first show in the summer at the away friendly against Watford, Big Dave, Terry and myself managed, on short notice, to do a show, and bring you live commentary from the game, since then we have had a fabulous time meeting some of our all time heroes, Dave has met most of the personalities at the club over the past few years, for Terry and myself it has been an absolute treat to meet so many of them, since we started the roll call of guests has been stunning, Carl Leaburn, Theo Foley, Paul Mortimer, Derek Hales, Garry Nelson, Derek Ufton, Steve Brown, Dean Kiely, Martin Robinson are amongst the names that stand out, to us as fans it is a privilige and we are keenly aware of how lucky we are to meet these people that we idolised as they did their stuff in that famous red shirt. A personal highlight was meeting Steve Brown, before the interview he was regaling us with stories, once we sat him down in the studio he actualy confessed the whole truth about that sending off against Leicester City, he had us in fits, one of my favourite interviews. Only last Saturday Terry and I had the honour of sitting down for 10 minutes with Alan Curbishley, the only thing that can top that will be Super Clive.
What we offer has changed as well, from just a 2 hours on a Sunday, we now have a podcast available on iTunes and thanks to Paul those without iTunes can now listen to the podcast in MP3 format here on the site. Thankfully new volunteers have come forward to help and we welcome all of them and what they will bring to Charlton Live as it goes from strength to strength.
Keep the emails, comments and tweets coming, it helps make the show what it is.
